I am so thrilled with the results I have gotten from working with you. I had read many books on nutrition, and had an idea what I wanted/needed to do, but was unable to "pull it all together" on my own. Your knowledge and guidance helped me to "pull it all together!" What I had read and believed in finally made sense!
My main goal was to eat healthier in order to feel better, both physically and mentally. You helped me to do that. What totally AMAZED me, was that, NOT ONLY did I feel better, but I effortlessly lost 10 pounds, 8 total inches, and 3% body fat in the approximately 12 weeks we worked together! Not once did I feel like I was depriving myself/dieting. I could definitely see how I was incorporating changes in my life, changes that I could live with forever, versus all the "diets" that help one to lose weight, only to gain that weight back because that "diet" cannot realistically be done "forever."
Thank you SO MUCH for all your guidance, Kelly! Your passion for health and helping others achieve their health goals is very apparent and contagious! I look forward to continue working with you in the near future.

Training with you helped me get over a fitness plateau. I was going to the gym several times a week and I considered myself fit, but I didn't push myself, and I certainly wasn't paying attention to what I ate.
In the year that I've been training with you I've noticed my strength has greatly improved. It's not just that I can lift heavier weights, but I also have more definition in my arms and legs. It feels so good to be strong!
You helped me to start paying attention to diet, not just calorie-counting, but also the types of food I was eating, which I believe was the ultimate catalyst in my losing 15 lbs. I still love food, and you taught me that I can have room for fun things, but that I can't expect to lose weight by eating nothing but fun things all week long.
Before you started training me, I couldn't run farther than a mile. I thought that I wasn't the type of person who could run, but you built my runs up until now I'm doing my first half-marathon next week. I am confident in my ability to finish thirteen miles - how crazy is that?!
Six months into my training I flew to Cancun for a friend's wedding. For the first time in my life, I felt completely at ease in a bikini. I had worked hard for my body and was proud to show it off!

When I started working with Kelly in Spring 2009, I limped from a fall two years earlier. Less than 6 months after working with Kelly, I had no Limp and now I can wear heals. I am stronger than I've ever been, have muscles where I didn't know muscles existed and I love it!

I met Kelly three years ago while taking a Team Weight Loss class. During that class I was able to lose 20lbs. Kelly taught me the necessity of exercise, eating right, and taking care of your body. I now do group training with Kelly and I am still happy with the results t hat I am getting during her workouts. She is truly great and I have found my trainer for life.
Thank you for pushing me harder than I ever would have pushed myself and for helping me see what I'm capable of doing. I’m stronger than I've ever been and I love it!
Also, thank you for making it so much fun. You always make me laugh, even when you're beating me up.

Since I started boot camp, I have really toned up my upper body and have cut way back on the amount of processed foods that I eat, but the biggest change has been in my running. I’ve jogged/walked on a fairly regular basis for 20+ years but rarely sustained a jog more than a mile without stopping to walk for a while. I refused to consider running even a 5K because I could not imagine that I would ever run 3.2 miles without stopping. Now, 3.2 miles is easy for me, and I was even able to recently complete a 10 mile run. I owe that all to you!

I have been trying to get my weight in control since my 1st child was born - he's 12!
I've done the gym thing, worked with a trainer, enrolled in LA Weight Loss, worked with two three fitness coaching groups and accomplished two triathlons. I lose weight --- BUT quickly gained it back and never really learned how to eat. Your Fit Happens program and your interest in me and my accomplishments have taught me how to eat AND WHY! My arms are starting to show actual muscle tone! My back side is so much slimmer! I've lost 5 inches in a short time and my clothes fit better and I've gained confidence in my body that I haven't had in years.
Even though I've been in a funk and have been on hiatus for 6 weeks, you still call to see how I am and what's going on with me. I feel like you are interested in my actual accomplishments. I can't say that for any trainer or coach that I have ever worked with. Did I mention that your group is FUN? You and the other folks make me laugh and I can't think of any better way to burn fat and gain muscle than by hurting AND having fun at the same time.

I've been working out with Kelly since May 2008; I've achieved many goals with her guidance and support! When I started my goal was weight loss, which progressed to living a healthier lifestyle, in the first six months I lost the 13 lbs I wanted to lose and I reduced my cholesterol from the 230's to the 180's.
Before getting pregnant with my 3rd baby my body fat was between 16-17%. Once I was expecting my goals changed again, I wanted to keep my weight gain to a healthy amount as well as staying fit. Kelly kept me motivated and modified my workouts as needed. If it hadn't been for coming down with whooping cough the month before my baby was born I would have worked out with Kelly up until the week before she was born (she arrived 6 weeks early)!
Staying in shape and continuing to eat healthy, aside from the sweets I was craving :), was exactly what I needed. I lost 20 of the 26 lbs that I gained in the first month of my daughter’s life and now that I am 8 wks postpartum I am ready to start working on losing the rest and getting back my muscle tone!!!

When I started working out with Kelly, I could run for about 30 seconds and then I spent the next 5 minutes breathing hard. Thanks to Kelly, I can run for about 20 min straight without having to slow down. She taught me how to control my breathing and pace my running.
I ran in ( and completed) the Turkey Trot for the first time this year. What a trainer!!
